You have ravish my heart

1 John 2.15 john said" Do not love the world or the things in this world.If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him

What John is saying, is do not set your house up in such a manner that a perfect earthly career and reputation are what you live for. If you live like that, at the end of your life, when you stand before Him, your heart will not be inflamed with passion and longing. When you buy into the cultural norms of the day, you will not be able have passion that will move you to the One from whom you were created.
We are not to make this world the object of our affection or the anchor of our hope.
We are not to be influenced by the trends and feelings that prevail this hour.The one who gives himself to the things of this world will not long for Jesus.

Our Goal in this shall be with in us, is to give us something more than basic mental assent, beyond the Yeah yeah I know He´s God and stuff.
Our desire should be that it would be an awakened hunger within us - that there would actually be a longing to be in Him and to say," Jesus, I desire You and you alone! It´s my heart´s cry to encounter You.
That is what i live for!I'm living for a person who moves me like nothing else could.
So I will abandon everything that hinders me,Distractions will be removed because I have an ache for You Jesus!
I have a longing and hunger to be with You and You alone !

Our ability to love is truly limited because we are finite people. The human heart only has so much affection, and it is physically impossible to have two lovers as number one in our life.
John said that when you give yourself to other loves, you will not be able to find your way. Having inflamed passion for The Son of Man has to be your heart´s singular cry.

In Mark 14:3-9 we find an amazing story about Mary of Bethany

And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble her? she hath wrought a good work on me For you have the poor with you always, and whensoever you will you may do them good: but me you have not always, She hath done what she could: she is come a forehand to anoint my body to the burying. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Jesus was using Mary´s heart as the model of desire and devotion.He lifted her up as the example.He said, This is what I am calling you to,This is the model of devotion and Love-a heart that is willing to give up everything and lay it at the feet of God.She is the model of this life we are called to lead.

So what Mary said is: You guys not get it I touched Him;He has wooed me and stirred me. This is what motivates me: This love is the longing that drives me. I Will pour over Jesus every ounce of Love. He has touched me and my response is to give everything. I will lay it all at His feet because I have been stricken with love.

If the Church would preach on the excellencies of this Man. The true message of Jesus-His undeniable character, the fullness of His emotions, His rapturous affections, His overflowing heart, His tenacious pursuit-then when the sermons stop and the hour of testing comes, the wounded people in the Church will be strong- not in their own perceived greatness and success, but in the strength of the Lord.
In that hour they will say," Take anything you want,but you cannot have my Love. It cannot be stolen. It is the most precious thing I have,and I do not care if I have anything else. I desire Jesus; Desire is what moves me, motivates me, and keeps me standing. I am not living for this Life; I am living for Him. Take whatever you want -I am His and He is mine.

The enemy has blinded many in the Church, many have bought into the religious lifestyle that numbs us to the reality of Jesus´existence without moving us any closer to understanding the heart of Jesus.
Many in the Church today are hungering and longing for something of truth and depth, but leadership only offers them a pacifier. Slowly we begin to give up and respond from a wounded hear that yet to be fully restored.
Thankfully, the structure of religion was never meant to satisfy; Jesus alone satisfies the hunger within you. The gospel is a call to a Man, Christ Jesus, not a cultural setting, a church building, a specific ministry model, or a group of people. Only when you touch Jesus is your hunger satisfied. As you see Jesus, desire will be awakened within you - a desire that can never be taken away - and you will offer your life to the Lord as one who has loved well. The passionate "Yes" in our heart will ravish Him and he will invite us into His eternal embrace as a faithful and fully pleasing Bride, the delight of his Heart.

Finally She is seeing herself as He sees her.

She sees how all the test and trials were designed her into an understanding that even she was a finished work in His eyes, she had to shed the old garments and put on the new as she acknowledged what He did for her.

She saw herself as a wall, steadfast, solid, well built, and capable of standing against the enemy. Her breasts like towers, she no longer saw herself as immature and helpless.

She sees herself as the chosen one, complete in him, victorious, glorious and reflecting Him.

She sees the pleasure in Him that she has responded to his mercy and grace.

And He says to her," I am in the midst of you, a mighty God who saves, I rest in My love for you and rejoice over you with singing.

Time for Love

And when I passed by you, I saw you polluted in your own blood, I said unto you when you wast in your blood, Live, Yes, I said unto you when you wast in your blood, Live, I have caused you to multiply as the bud of the field, and you hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments, your breasts are fashioned, and your hair is grown, whereas you wast naked and bare.

Now when I passed by you, and looked upon you, behold, your time was the time of love, and I spread my skirt over You, and covered your nakedness, Yes, I swore unto you, and I entered into a covenant with you, saith the Lord GOD, and you became mine.

Then washed I you with water, Yes, I throughly washed away your blood from you and I anointed thee with oil I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod you with badgers' skin, and I girded you about with fine linen, and I covered you with silk.

I decked you also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on your neck, And I put a jewel on your forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

Thus wast you decked with gold and silver; and your raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work, you didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and you wast exceeding beautiful, and you didst prosper into a kingdom And you renown went forth among the heathen for your beauty, for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon you, saith the Lord GOD.

You are all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee, for you are mine now and no one can take you from my hand.

Come you that thirst !!

Ho, every one that is thirsty, come to the waters, he that has no money, come and buy and eat, yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
